See it move:

Quick start: Let the AI build your webinar with you — no manual needed · live demo webinars below

Three ways to start

However you like to work, WebinarIgnition meets you there. The same webinar, three doors, and you can switch at any time.

  1. Let the AI write it on the web — no install, nothing to set up: open the AI Webinar Writer, describe what you do, and get your webinar plan.
  2. Install the free plugin — WebinarIgnition from WordPress.org, with an assistant working right in your dashboard.
  3. Connect your own AI over MCP — point Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or any MCP-capable tool at mcp.webinarignition.com.

The full story is further down: Three ways to start.

Who is this for?

You know your subject. You are not a funnel builder. That is exactly the gap WebinarIgnition closes. And the test is not how many features it has, but how the person on the other side feels at every step.

  • Coaches, course creators and consultants who have the knowledge but not the funnel: registration page, reminder emails, the room, the offer, the replay. Built with you by the AI, so you launch on your message, not on an empty settings page. No agency invoice, no five tools that do not talk to each other.
  • WooCommerce shops where traffic comes and goes without buying: sell inside the webinar room while attention is warm. Checkout, subscriptions and upsells without sending the buyer off the page.
  • Agencies who rebuild every client funnel from zero: one repeatable way, in 26 languages, in hours instead of days. More clients, better margin.
  • EU/DACH hosts who do not want their participants’ data in a US cloud: everything stays on your WordPress, on your hosting.

And the one who decides whether it worked is not you. It is your attendee. From the invite to the confirmation, the calendar, the reminders, the countdown, the room, the offer and the replay, every step is built so a normal person can follow it without thinking. When your attendee feels good, the webinar sells itself. That is what we optimise for.

How pricing works (no surprises)

Unlimited live, automated, and evergreen webinars with unlimited attendees, no time limit, no demo mode. There are no per-attendee fees and no seat tiers: your price never jumps because one webinar did unusually well. Other platforms lock you into a high monthly tier all year even if you only fill the room once.

Plus ($99/mo) is for when you want to sell inside the room (WooCommerce and other checkouts), need built-in live video, and unlock individual leads and automations. Same flat plugin price whether you host a small group or a packed session. You only pay for the streaming you actually use. No success-tax: your price does not grow because your list or your audience grows.

We like that idea so much that we bundle it. Plus VIP includes Groundhogg Pro (1 site) for email automation with flat-rate pricing (around $50/mo no matter how big your list grows), instead of the per-contact pricing most email platforms charge.

Real hosts, real results

Felix, an agency in Hamburg, ran a seven-hour symposium live — 19 May 2026, 10:00–17:00 CET — in German and English, with the language switched live inside the webinar room. About 600 people registered, and more than 100 questions were asked and answered in two-way chat, directly in the room. What stayed with him was the language switch: he would otherwise have rebuilt it as a separate page — another piece that does not fit together. Instead the whole thing lived in one room.

Viktor, an agency in Spain, runs protected press releases for a bicycle manufacturer in eight languages from a single setup.

Daniela shows what the plugin is really for: not five plugins that do not talk to each other, but registration, reminders and tracking connected in one place, so the webinar carries the message instead of the toolchain.

What they have in common, and what we build for: make everything connectable, worked the way that suits you, at a fair price. And let AI carry what you cannot do well. The writing, the lead capture, the landing page, the technical setup, holding the webinar, the reminders. You bring the idea. The plugin takes the rest off your hands.

The stream ran through 3Q Video for GDPR/DSGVO-compliant hosting in Germany and Europe, not a US-only stack. Registrations, calendar entries, and reminder emails all ran on WebinarIgnition, on 14a.tv.

During the event, our live-update service (hosted in Frankfurt) sends instant signals to every screen: a new CTA, a new question, your answer, a status change. So your WordPress site does not have to reload over and over. All registrations, chat, and attendee data stay on your WordPress site, where your hosting already is. The helper does not store that data. Available on every plan, including free.

New: WebinarIgnition builds the webinar with you

You probably do not wake up excited to write registration copy and reminder emails. Or to hunt down where in the settings the date lives. Or to work out why a page looks broken. That is exactly the job the AI assistant takes off your hands.

Describe the webinar you want, in plain words. Or let it ask you. It finds the topic with you, writes your invitation and reminder texts, builds the registration page, sets the dates and the schedule, points the live room at the right video source, keeps your colours readable, and answers your technical questions along the way. You read and change every line afterwards. You just never start from a blank page.

Available on every plan, including free. 26 languages included, more on request, best quality powered by AI.

There are three ways to let it work for you. Pick the one that fits how you already work, and see Three ways to start below. The easiest entry: open the AI Webinar Writer and describe your webinar.

Free: AI Connector (MCP)

Connect an AI assistant to your WordPress site. Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and other MCP-capable tools all work. Then build your webinars from that chat.

Here the assistant is both writer and doer. It can reach into the running plugin and create and update webinars while you watch it happen: registration pages, emails, dates, settings, colours. You read and edit every line afterwards, the same way as with the AI writer above. What an assistant can do depends on the assistant and its plan.

It works on ordinary hosting. It also works when your site cannot be reached from outside, for example behind a bot wall, a firewall, or shared hosting that blocks incoming requests. Your site then reaches the connector itself and polls for work. No inbound access is needed, and nothing on your host has to change.

You find it under WebinarIgnition > AI connection (the same connection panel is on the Settings screen). Connecting needs an administrator account. Free on every plan.

Three ways to start

The point of all three is the same. You should not have to build the webinar alone. Pick the door that fits you today. You can switch at any time, and nothing is locked in.

  1. The AI Webinar Writer on the web. No install, nothing to set up. Open the AI Webinar Writer, describe what you do, and it finds the topic, writes the texts and hands you a finished webinar plan. Then hand it over to your WordPress.
  2. Install the free plugin. Add WebinarIgnition from WordPress.org (Plugins > Add New > search “WebinarIgnition”). Inside the plugin an assistant works right in your dashboard. You type the change, it makes it and confirms. Same AI, now connected to the real webinar.
  3. Connect your own AI over MCP. Point Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, or any MCP-capable tool at mcp.webinarignition.com. Here your own AI is both writer and doer and can reach into the plugin directly. It works even behind a firewall.

In short: the web writer plans and writes, the in-plugin assistant builds your webinar on your site, and MCP does both through the AI tool you already use. Start where you stand.

WooCommerce Integration

  • Free: Add a button CTA linking to your WooCommerce product page — keep the connection warm, send them to the shop when the moment is right
  • Plus: Embed WooCommerce checkout directly inside the webinar room — products, subscriptions, upsells without a page redirect, while trust is at its peak
  • Auto-fill checkout forms with data from webinar registration (name, email, address for logged-in customers)
  • Sell WooCommerce subscriptions, memberships, and courses inside webinars
  • Drop any WordPress plugin’s funnel into the room — CartFlows, FunnelKit, WPFunnels and more — as a live CTA, so a whole checkout lives in the webinar, not just a WooCommerce product
  • Send registration and attendance data (name, email, campaign tags, attended status, product purchased) to your CRM

Integrations

  • Email & CRM: Mailchimp, AWeber, GetResponse, iContact, InfusionSoft, Mautic (via HTML form) and KlickTipp (via WP2LEADS) directly — and any CRM or automation tool (ActiveCampaign, FluentCRM, Groundhogg, Brevo, Zapier, Make) via webhooks
  • Payments: WooCommerce, Digistore24, Stripe, PayPal
  • Funnels: CartFlows, FunnelKit, WPFunnels — your in-room CTA can open any of them
  • Video: YouTube Live, Vimeo, your own live stream, MP4/video files, iframe embeds; built-in live video on Plus — 100ms meetings or Daily.co
  • Social login: Nextend Social Login (22+ providers, external plugin, free or paid)
  • Page builders: Elementor, Gutenberg/FSE, Divi, Beaver Builder, Thrive Architect, Oxygen, Bricks
  • Works with what you already run — SureMail/SMTP for mail, Groundhogg for email automation, Nelio for A/B tests, and any other WordPress plugin, on any page or inside the webinar room

Multilingual Webinars — 26 Languages

Your webinar works best when people can follow every line without effort.
Reading and listening in a second language always costs energy. Every bit of extra effort lowers conversion.

Each webinar runs in its own language, timezone and date format.
Registration page, emails, thank-you page and the webinar room itself adapt to the audience you choose.

26 languages out of the box. Every language on request. Best quality powered by AI.

Hand-translated: English (en_US, en_GB), German (de_DE, de_DE_formal)

GDPR & Privacy

All registration and attendee data stays on your own server. Registration confirms the contact by email. Whether you additionally run double opt-in inside WebinarIgnition at sign-up, or later in your email-marketing provider, is your choice. FAQ

What is the best free webinar plugin for WooCommerce?

WebinarIgnition is the free webinar plugin built for WooCommerce. The free version includes unlimited live, automated, and evergreen webinars with unlimited attendees, AI-generated registration pages, and one in-webinar interaction per event. No attendee limits, no demo mode, no time restriction. When you are ready to sell inside the webinar room, the Plus plan adds WooCommerce in-room checkout. No redirect, auto-fill customer data, close the sale while trust is at its peak.

Is there a free alternative to WebinarNinja, Demio, or EasyWebinar on WordPress?

Yes. WebinarIgnition runs entirely on your own site. No monthly SaaS platform, no attendee limits, and your leads stay on your server. The free version covers live, automated, and evergreen webinars with registration, reminders, and one in-webinar action. Paid plans add in-room WooCommerce checkout, webhooks, unlimited CTAs, and built-in live video (100ms up to 20,000 participants, Daily.co up to 1,000). You own everything: your leads, your recordings, your funnel.

What is the best WordPress plugin for webinars with WooCommerce?

WebinarIgnition embeds WooCommerce checkout directly inside the webinar room. No redirect, no drop-off. Attendees buy during the webinar without leaving. Auto-fill pre-populates checkout with registration data and existing WooCommerce customer details. The free version adds a button CTA linking to your WooCommerce product page. In-room checkout is available on the Plus plan.

What does the free version include — and what is in the paid plans?

Run complete webinars from day one: unlimited events, unlimited attendees, AI-generated registration pages, and one in-webinar interaction per event. No demo mode, no time limit. Free shows the total sign-up count in your dashboard. Individual lead details and CRM handoff require Unlimited or a Plus trial.

See the plan blocks at the top of this page: Free, Unlimited, Plus, and Plus VIP. Full pricing: webinarignition.com/#pricing

Can I run live, automated, and evergreen webinars with one plugin?

Yes. WebinarIgnition handles all three webinar types in a single plugin. All types share the same engine: CTAs, polls, booking forms, and checkout appear identically whether live or automated. The free version includes all three types with unlimited events and attendees.

How does the AI webinar content generator work?

Describe your webinar, or let the assistant ask you. It finds the topic with you, writes your invitation and reminder texts, builds the registration page and sets the dates. 26 languages included, more on request, best quality powered by AI. Available on all plans including free. Let the AI build your webinar

Is WebinarIgnition optimized for AI search (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews)?

Yes. The plugin FAQ, feature pages, and documentation are written to answer the specific questions AI assistants are asked about webinar solutions for WordPress, so assistants have clear, citable text to work from.

How is WebinarIgnition different from WebinarPress?

WebinarIgnition is built around WooCommerce-first sales automation and multilingual audiences. Key differences:

  • Multilingual: WebinarIgnition supports 26 languages per-webinar — registration pages, emails, thank-you pages, and the webinar room all adapt automatically. Your attendees register and convert in their native language.
  • In-room checkout: WebinarIgnition embeds WooCommerce checkout inside the webinar (Plus) instead of sending the buyer to a product page.
  • AI assistant: WebinarIgnition writes registration pages and reminder emails in 26 languages on all plans.
  • Evergreen in free: WebinarIgnition includes automated and evergreen webinars in the free version.
  • Shortcodes anywhere: Registration forms work in footers, sidebars, and popups, unlimited times on the same page.
  • 1-click registration: WebinarIgnition sends personalized one-click registration links via email.
  • Built-in video on Plus: 100ms or Daily.co — meetings up to 20,000 (100ms) or 1,000 (Daily.co) — see the Plus plan above.
  • Active development: WebinarIgnition ships major features regularly (see changelog).

If you are comparing, test both on the points that matter to you: your language, your checkout, your funnel.

Can I embed the registration form in my website footer, sidebar, or popup?

Yes. Registration shortcodes work anywhere: footers, sidebars, widgets, popups, and multiple times on the same page. The shortcode inherits your theme’s colors and fonts automatically.

How do recurring live webinars work?

Create a live webinar and set it to recur weekly, bi-weekly, or on a custom schedule. After each session, re-invite all previously registered attendees with one click. They receive a new 1-click registration link without re-entering their details.

Can I use custom registration fields inside the webinar or in webhooks?

Yes. Fields like participant reason, UTM parameters, and any custom fields are available in CTAs, email templates, and webhook payloads (paid plans). This enables advanced segmentation: “registered with reason: product demo AND attended AND did not buy.”

Does WebinarIgnition support paid webinars?

Yes. Charge for access via WooCommerce, Stripe, PayPal, or Digistore24. Attendees purchase the webinar and receive a secure access link automatically. Available on the Unlimited plan and above.

What video sources are supported?

YouTube Live, Vimeo Live, any RTMP stream, MP4/video files, iframes, and the built-in live video on Plus: 100ms meetings up to 20,000 participants, or Daily.co meetings up to 1,000. Set a different video source per webinar.

Can I automate a complete sales funnel with WebinarIgnition?

Yes. Set up an evergreen webinar with timed CTAs, connect webhooks to your email tool, and trigger sequences based on attendance status. Use 1-click registration links in emails for frictionless re-entry. Combine with CartFlows or FunnelKit for WooCommerce upsell sequences. Full funnel: opt-in -> webinar -> in-room offer -> post-webinar follow-up.

Can each webinar be in a different language and timezone?

Yes. Every webinar has its own language, timezone, and date/time format. 26 languages included. Every language on request. Best quality powered by AI. Ideal for agencies running multilingual campaigns or global audiences.

What email reminders are included?

All plans include registration confirmation, 1 day before, 1 hour before, when live, and after the webinar. All fully customizable. On paid plans, send registration data via webhooks to trigger advanced automations like “registered but did not attend.”

Is WebinarIgnition GDPR-compliant?

Yes. All data stays on your own server. Registration confirms the contact by email. Whether you run an extra double opt-in in WebinarIgnition or later in your email-marketing provider is your choice. Full compliance options for EU/DACH.

What is the done-for-you setup service?

Available on the Plus plan: our team personally configures your email delivery, email marketing connection, video source, streaming provider, and registration page design. Goal: your first webinar goes live with 100% tech success. Unlimited includes 1:1 consultant tech support; Plus VIP adds VIP support and VIP planning meetings.

Can I report security bugs?

Yes. Report through the Patchstack Vulnerability Disclosure Program.

EXTERNAL SERVICES

This plugin may connect to external services depending on your configuration:

  • Freemius: licensing, updates, and trial management (freemius.com/privacy) — required
  • 100ms Video Meetings: built-in live video on paid plans (100ms.live/privacy-policy) — optional
  • Google APIs: Calendar and YouTube (Google privacy policy) — optional
  • Stripe, PayPal and Digistore24: payment processing (stripe.com/privacy) — optional
  • Cloudflare Turnstile: spam protection on registration forms (Cloudflare privacy policy) — optional
  • Pexels: stock-photo search inside the AI content wizard (Pexels privacy policy) — optional
  • mail-tester.com: spam-score check for your test emails (mail-tester.com) — optional
  • Tawk.to: support chat in the plugin admin (tawk.to privacy policy) — optional
  • Nextend Social Login: social registration, 22+ providers, external plugin — optional
  • WebinarIgnition AI relay: powers the built-in AI content wizard / AI Agent, optional — only used when you actively use the AI wizard (Terms · Privacy · Imprint)
  • CDN resources: jsDelivr (the interactive prompter). Bootstrap, Video.js, jQuery, Moment.js and Luxon ship inside the plugin

About the AI content wizard / AI Agent (optional): When — and only when — you use the AI wizard or AI Agent inside wp-admin to draft a webinar, registration page, or reminder emails, the plugin sends your request to the WebinarIgnition AI relay (hosted on Fly.io, default endpoint https://wi-node-ai-relay.fly.dev), which forwards it to an international AI model provider based in the USA (for web-research tasks a second international provider is used). What is sent: the text you type, the structured webinar concept you build in the wizard (goal, audience, topic, title, tone, speaker/guest names, key points and notes, video URLs, schedule), your WordPress site domain and site URL, plugin version, license plan, and your own WordPress profile display name and bio (used to personalize copy). No attendee, registrant, or lead data (participant names, emails, chat messages) is sent to the AI relay. Why: to generate the webinar copy, pages, and emails you asked the wizard to write. The API keys live on the relay, never in your WordPress install. The AI writing and conversation guidance itself (the prompt instructions that make the copy good) is served by the relay as part of that same service and is not stored inside the plugin; the plugin keeps only a short offline fallback so the free build stays usable without it. This is entirely optional: all core webinar features — registration, reminders, live room, replay, WooCommerce CTAs — work without the AI wizard, and the free WordPress.org build runs standalone without it. AI provider policies: Anthropic privacy policy, Perplexity privacy policy. WebinarIgnition AI relay Terms of Service and Privacy Policy: Terms of Service · Privacy Policy.

No participant data is sent to any external service without your explicit configuration.

This plugin currently blacks out the enable/disable auto update for all other plugins, and has a notification you CANNOT TURN OFF. ANNOYING.

This was good plugin but now very difficult no good support we will move to another solution. Thanks

Back in the day, this was a good option, but now there are much better options out there. Difficult to use, webinars take far too many steps to set up and that doens't even include doing the webinars themselves. You can't even see who has registred unless you go with the premium option (?!). Often buggy with pages not loading and managing a large library of webinars is a nightmare. We tried multiple times to sort out page loading issues but needed to move to a solution that we could launch. We moved on to Vimeo which offers built-in registrations (that you can view), registration confirmation and reminder emails and even how long registrants watch the webinar and where people drop off. A much better overall value.

It has the most complete set of features for webinars, even compared to more expensive platforms. It really helps me teach our community through live and evergreen webinars. Ehtisham, your customer support has been especially noteworthy. Once again, thank you for trusting me. I look forward to staying connected with you. Highly recommended

Changelog

4.16 – 4.20.00 (11 July 2026 – 21 September 2026)

The assistant can now write and change far more of your webinar, your colours follow you onto the site and into mail, the live room gained a second video provider and a truly tappable mobile button, card payment moved to the modern Stripe interface, and the package got leaner. Everything since 4.16 rolled into one read — grouped by topic, not by version number. Everything is additive: nothing to reconfigure, what you have stays.

See it in motion:

What’s in it for you

You spend less time preparing and less time fixing, and your attendee has a smoother path to the offer. The assistant tells you the truth about what it changed (and what it did not), your colours stay readable on every surface, your package stays lean and updates cleanly, and your live room fits your event. Same effort from you — more of the webinar that actually reaches people.

The AI assistant (Mini agent and MCP)

  • It writes your thank-you and replay copy — headline, subheadline, ticket lines, Add-to-Calendar buttons, countdown labels, the webinar-URL choice, the closed/time-over replay text, and the “About this session” info block in the room and on the replay page are all read- and writable through the assistant, even where the classic UI hides them.
  • It checks its own work — when it says a setting is saved, it has read the value back from your webinar first. It never claims a change it did not deliver as a structured field plus a confirmed read-back.
  • Mail changes come as a real draft — any mail wish (writing, rewriting or regenerating the confirmation or reminder mails) answers with a real draft next to the sentence; prose alone is not accepted.
  • It asks before sending anything sensitive — paste a card number, an IBAN, an ID number, or a list of contacts into the chat and it stops and asks first, before that reaches the AI provider. Ordinary text, including names, is never held up.
  • It says plainly what it cannot do — for a wish it provably cannot execute here (for example a survey on the thank-you page, or connecting an outside system), it says so in one short line, names what it can change right here, and hands you to the Studio as the honest next step.
  • It never invents a link or a state — a deleted webinar is reported plainly, and stored dates, ids and status are read from the database, never guessed.
  • It names the field it means — confirmations never print a raw field key (“ty_calendar_google”) again, only the plain label. Legacy fields (ty_share_*, the SMS fields, use_new_email_notiff_*_template) are named in one sentence and left alone.
  • A colour request is applied right away — when the host names a colour, a role and a hex value in one sentence, the server writes it deterministically instead of asking for the wording.
  • Honest answers when the AI is briefly unavailable — a short provider overload or rate limit is explained plainly, with confirmation that nothing was deducted from your usage. The assistant answers in your own admin language.
  • Import legacy webinars as a new webinar — in the Studio a legacy (HC) webinar is selectable as a source; the agent asks once, clickable, what should happen to the old one: delete it and reuse the URL (create new permanent 301 oldnew only then delete), keep both, or adopt your own pages (your real registration/thank-you pages are taken over instead of base templates with placeholders). No import runs without that answer. The import empties absolute foreign URLs, normalises hc/legacy markers to gb, and never overwrites a working page with a shortcode-less legacy page — an honest message instead.
  • The assistant’s guidance is served from the AI service — the writing and conversation guidance travels from the WebinarIgnition AI service, so the free download stays lean; if the service is unreachable, a short built-in fallback keeps the assistant working.
  • Invitations for every channel — Instagram, LinkedIn, Telegram and YouTube now get the same detailed writing guidance as email, Facebook and WhatsApp (right length, right tone, image prompt, link-in-bio hint).

Colours, contrast and mail

  • Fixed colour roles instead of single colours — surface, ink, heading and CTA are derived from four host colours as semantic roles; templates read only the WI slugs, and existing webinars are migrated.
  • The Site Editor colours follow — changing your brand colours also updates the active block theme’s palette (background, text and the button), and on Twenty Twenty-Five keeps the semantic shades and text tokens.
  • Emails can differ from the site — a new email target writes only the email template colours and switches “emails follow the site” off by itself, so the written colours really take effect.
  • Contrast protection on write and on display — a WCAG check corrects only what is genuinely below AA, scoped to WebinarIgnition; countdown tiles stay transparent.
  • Every value is checked before it is written — a bad value (a wrong hex, an impossible number, a made-up field value) is refused once, up front, with the expected shape — nothing half-written. Whole-number settings have a real upper bound.

Publishing, packaging and reliability

  • Publishing from the chat fixed — the canonical write value is passed and the gate normalises it back; publishing while registration is running now goes through, and a “Done: live/published” close names open red items instead of claiming “finished”.
  • The room switch is a real switch — the server tells the client what it actually switched (master/room, from–to), so an “Undo” button is possible, and every phase change is rate-limited because participants see it at once.
  • Leaner and stable at the provider — the large kernel is split so the Freemius preprocessor no longer runs out of memory, the premium guards are nested correctly, and the free build packages fully again.
  • The package is smaller — the bundled Stripe library is gone and language files no longer ship inside; the language of the page or webinar is fetched once and stored locally. English is always on board; without a network it stays on English and nothing breaks.
  • The update check survives slow hosts — the Freemius timeout was raised, and “Check again” always loads the real SDK so a fresh release appears immediately.
  • Correct dates — the German default date format renders its weekday as a weekday again in the admin preview and the evergreen dropdown, and the date placeholder adapts to the sending channel (MCP: day form, public page: spelled out).
  • The learning log and your feedback actually arrive — the AI relay gets the site-bound token with every learning-book and feedback call, so entries are stored instead of refused.
  • Read before you writewi_get_colors reports whether an email override is active and whether the site palette is writable; short links carry per-link stats; the Mini agent payload carries the live-room CTAs; one invitation call can create one link per source (e.g. 1 WhatsApp + 3 Telegram groups).

The live room

Works automatically. Nothing to reconfigure.

  • Daily.co or 100ms as the live-room provider — pick 100ms (as before) or Daily.co per webinar; credentials (API key + domain) are stored once site-wide and the webinar creates its room on save. Existing 100ms webinars are unchanged; the setup checklist recognises a Daily.co webinar like a 100ms one.
  • Modern live room only — the legacy hardcoded room is gone. Every attendee lands in the same modern room you preview from admin, and the admin preview matches the room.
  • The live room has a fixed order — one header, a fixed CTA frame, the prompter bar on top, controls left and right. The overlay button sits correctly at the page end and the CTA scroll hands over cleanly.
  • A truly tappable mobile action button — on mobile the overlay CTA was partly covered by the header (9 of 15 taps); now every tap lands (15 of 15).
  • Nothing pops up over your live room — site-wide translate widgets and cookie banners stay off the live and replay pages, so nothing floats over your video or your call-to-action. Registration and thank-you pages keep theirs.
  • Nothing from the rest of your site floats over the video, and the video sources behave: YouTube /live/<id> links play, a playlist or unusable link shows a clean “no playable video” state instead of a black room, and a host’s own iframe embed is left untouched.
  • Two-way Q&A and chat — questions do not get lost, chat refreshes without a full reload, Q&A status can be shown/hidden, and the console’s known write paths are used.

Before you go live, mail and follow-up

  • Guests land where they can act — a visitor arriving without a valid registration link sees the registration form instead of an empty page, and a confirmed attendee goes straight into the live room the moment you switch it live.
  • Evergreen reminders keep the right hour — evergreen signups store their time in a timezone-safe form, so reminder emails go out at the hour the attendee expects, whichever timezone they registered from.
  • Sign-ups work everywhere — registration no longer loops on installs in a subfolder (for example example.com/wp/), and signing up no longer waits for the whole mail queue to clear before the visitor’s browser moves on.
  • The reminder checklist matches what actually sends — the dashboard readiness list and the assistant check the same status your reminder emails use, so they stop suggesting you add reminders that are already going out.
  • See a stuck mail job before a guest complains — if a confirmation or reminder email is stuck and failing to send, the webinar Overview tab shows a red row for it instead of staying silent.
  • Undeliverable addresses come back to you — when SureMail reports an address as bounced, it is recorded on that lead, so your list stops carrying dead addresses. CSV imports finish with a plain summary of what was added, what was skipped and why.
  • Two settings actually save now — the Usage insights and Advanced mode switches on the General Settings page no longer reset on every reload.
  • The timezone picker is clickable in every browser — in Safari the list looked normal but nothing responded to a click; opening it now also shows the visitor’s own timezone first.
  • Missing regional translations fall back sensibly — languages without their own file (for example English (South Africa), German (Switzerland), Spanish (Chile), Portuguese (Angola)) show the closest complete language instead of silently switching to English, with a plain note saying which one.
  • Names in mails are always filled — a simple form captures one full name; {FIRSTNAME}/{LASTNAME} are derived from it and the placeholder is never sent raw.
  • More placeholders — {DATE} (date and time, one-off), {DATE_ONLY}, {TIME}, {TZ} and {CALENDAR}.
  • Date preview shows the weekday again and “Check again” finds new releases.

Registration pages, cards and content

  • Card payment on the registration page — card checkout runs through Stripe PaymentIntents. The attendee stays on the page — no redirect, no leaving the form — and the card is confirmed securely including 3D-Secure as an overlay. The old token path (switched off by Stripe) is gone. If the payment start fails, a clear message appears and the button stays usable, and the old card fields are cleanly hidden.
  • No demo video on new registration pages — templates 1 and 2 used to carry a third-party sample video in the hero. It is removed; without your own video the space stays empty instead of showing someone else’s.
  • Registration animation — the registration hero is now a Gutenberg block pattern with animation instead of a video placeholder; the AI planner no longer invents a video or repeats the webinar title in the animation text.
  • Registration pages you can actually edit — headline, sales copy and host introduction are real, editable text on the page. Click and rewrite them like any other paragraph, no hunting through settings tabs.
  • Your own photo on your registration page — new pages show your host photo, or your Gravatar, or no photo at all. Never a stock image of someone else.
  • Thank-you pages built the same way — twelve new shortcodes carry the function only, so the wording around them lives in the editor. All existing thank-you shortcodes keep working exactly as before.
  • Better mail copy — the AI gets clear guidance for teaser, CTA and button, a headline formula and a tone anchor; a missing sender is flagged in yellow before sending.
  • Shortcode panel across page builders — the WI shortcode panel includes the webinar grid with a ready-to-copy example, and minimal variants without built-in text. Registration, grid, and footer shortcodes work reliably across classic and block themes.
  • New webinars start on an editable landing page, and picking a webinar in the wizard and the assistant is a search field now. The block editor no longer silently drops a once-applied landing template.

Dashboard, insights and admin

  • See where your funnel loses people — registrations and attendance are charted over time on the dashboard, so a quiet week is easy to tell apart from a page that stopped working.
  • Setting up a webinar feels faster — the dashboard, the tab switches and the webinar list do far less work behind the scenes, so routine edits no longer wait for the page to catch up. Long settings pages stay responsive while you type, and each section opens the panel you clicked.
  • Cleaner admin screens — Settings, webhooks, and general settings open without PHP notices in the way.
  • AI content stays production-safe — staging and localhost URLs are stripped when you save AI-generated pages; safer JSON handling in the AI wizard.
  • Deleting a webinar cleans up properly — removing a campaign no longer leaves stray database entries behind.
  • Translations refreshed in 26 languages — everything added since the last release is available in German (formal and informal), Spanish, Portuguese, French, Italian, Dutch, Polish, Japanese, Hindi and the rest. Freemius SDK 2.13.4 keeps licensing and updates smooth.

Why this release (and why stay on the latest version)

What’s in it for you: We do not only fix code in the abstract. We run your funnel on the hosting stacks real customers use.

  • Multiserver smoke testing — Each release line is checked on Cloudways/Nginx, Apache, LiteSpeed, Microsoft IIS, and WordPress.com-style hosting before we call it ready. Registration, thank-you, mail, export, and the live room should feel the same on your server, not only on ours.
  • Fixes land in the current version — Lead export, CTAs, reminders, and room behavior improve in the latest release first. If something still works on an older build but breaks on yours, updating is usually the fastest way to get the fix that is already shipped.
  • Your funnel in the foreground — We care about the path your attendees take: sign up, confirm, join, buy. Tell us where that path sticks on the latest version and we can reproduce it, fix it, and ship it in the next update.
  • Three ways in — start in the AI Webinar Writer, install the free plugin from WordPress.org, or connect your own AI over MCP. Pick the door that fits you.

Update with us

Hand in hand: Update to the latest version, then talk to us.

We are here for questions, ideas, and concrete funnel feedback through the built-in chat in the WebinarIgnition admin (joinwi.com). When you run the current release, we test the same build you run, respond faster, and can turn your input into the next update.

4.15.93 — July 2026

  • Thank-you and calendar after signup — Registration sends attendees to the confirmation page with working Add to calendar links when the webinar is in countdown. Google Calendar and download links stay visible until the host goes live.
  • Confirmation email timing — Admin tab8 notes when the five-minute live window skips the confirmation email so hosts know what to expect.

4.15.89 — July 2026

  • Confirmation mail on smoke hosts — Sign-up email sends reliably on Apache and other sandbox hosts when a lead registers during mail smoke tests. Works automatically after update.

4.15.88 — July 2026

  • Mail cron preflight — Auto-Cron and a one-minute WI cron option in tab1 preflight so reminder sends stay on schedule without manual server setup.

4.15.19 — July 2026

  • Live reminder slots 4 and 5 — Same timing rules as slots 1–3: only the offset differs (+1 hour / +1 day). No extra video gate or shortened grace window.

4.15.15 — July 2026

  • Reminder timing — Evergreen and live reminders skip only when registration is after the slot send time (plus grace), not by same calendar day. Custom date/time offsets behave predictably.
  • Evergreen cron — New leads with empty lead status are included in automated reminder sends again.

4.15 — July 2026

Since 4.13.68 — One modern live room for everyone, reminder status you can trust in admin, and a calmer path from signup through email to the room.

We are here for questions, ideas, and concrete funnel feedback through the built-in chat in the WebinarIgnition admin (joinwi.com). When you run the current release, we test the same build you run, respond faster, and can turn your input into the next update. The version you stay on is the version we can improve together.

Before you go live

  • Modern live room only — The legacy hardcoded room is gone. Every attendee lands in the same modern room you preview from admin.
  • Admin preview matches the room — Hardcoded-campaign preview opens the modern room so what you rehearse is what attendees see.
  • Open. Edit. Publish. — Published/Draft shows right away. Jump between webinar tabs before the heavy dashboard scripts finish loading.
  • Editors when you click, not before — Rich-text fields load on the tab you open, so routine edits feel lighter.
  • TinyMCE when you expect it — Email and CTA editors open reliably when you click into content tabs.
  • Drafts that save faster — Shortcode registration pages publish before linking, with clear saving feedback on link buttons.
  • Setup that guides, not nags — Readiness stays green. Optional yellow tips recommend page cache and clearer mail checks as your audience grows.
  • AI content stays production-safe — Staging and localhost URLs are stripped when you save AI-generated pages; safer JSON handling in the AI wizard.
  • CSV import — Respects your canonical sender settings on import.
  • Webinar list opens cleanly — Default list URL without confusing query parameters.

In the live room

Works automatically. Nothing to reconfigure.

  • Room for more attendees — Offers and interactions load leaner so you can grow past small test groups without the page stuttering when you drop a CTA.
  • Every offer feels 1:1 — Registration data flows into live CTAs. Names and custom fields appear inside offers, not only in emails.
  • CTA stack — Sidebar and overlay CTAs stay usable on desktop and mobile without fighting the player layout.
  • Questions do not get lost — Two-way Q&A, chat refresh without a full reload, brand-colored bubbles, and a roomier chat area.
  • Live console cleanup — Delete-message and CTA controls behave reliably; fewer console errors during your webinar.
  • Debug noise removed — Localhost debug ingest no longer loads in the participant live room.
  • Mobile sidebar that behaves — Evergreen checkout toggles stay on the edge thumbs expect, on phones and desktop alike.
  • Video and sound when it matters — Clearer unmute behavior on embedded streams and block-theme thank-you pages.

After signup, mail and follow-up

  • Reminder status you can trust — Tab 8 shows Queued, Sent, or Failed per slot (with a clear reason when something did not send). Preflight and wave stats follow the same delivery-first model.
  • Know why mail failed — Preflight separates delivery problems from sender-identity mismatches, so you fix the right thing first.
  • Right time in every inbox — Evergreen signup timezone, thank-you display, and reminder mail dates stay in sync with what people registered for.
  • Mail queue keeps moving — Reminder scheduling runs more reliably in the background without manual babysitting.

Check: Send one test reminder after updating and confirm Tab 8 shows Sent when your mail plugin delivered — and that the join button and date look right for your next webinar.

Peace of mind

  • Registration and thank-you polish — Footer, thank-you, and hardcoded notices render consistently across builders and block themes.
  • Renotify banner — Hides when there are zero leads to re-notify.
  • Test URLs do not go live — AI import keeps private and staging links off production registration pages.
  • Checkout links stay clean — Empty coupon fragments no longer clutter CTA checkout iframes.
  • Cleaner admin screens — Settings, webhooks, and general settings open without PHP notices in the way.
  • Update without surprises — WordPress.org quality standards, security hardening, and an updated Freemius SDK under the hood. Works automatically.

4.13.18 — 4.13.68, 15 June 2026

4.13.17 4.13.68 — Evergreen registration and the live room work more smoothly on phones and under load. Fixed and delayed evergreen dates show clearly, instant registrations reach the right page faster, and sidebar offers stay usable in the Modern room.

Evergreen registration

Works automatically.

  • Fixed and delayed evergreen dates — Registration pages show the right date and time for fixed-slot and delayed evergreen webinars.
  • Thank-you before grace window ends — Attendees on fixed or delayed evergreen paths see the confirmation page until their slot is ready, not a broken early redirect.
  • Faster registration submit — Confirmation emails and integrations run after the response, so busy evergreen pages stay responsive.

Instant access and thank-you

  • Instant evergreen — Registrations and thank-you fallbacks route straight to the live room when your webinar is set for immediate access.
  • Thank-you on Divi and block themes — Ticket rows stay readable on Divi; calendar buttons in the admin preview carry a clear test hint so you know what attendees will tap.

Live room (Modern)

Works automatically on mobile and desktop.

  • Sidebar offers on phones — CTAs stack in their own column so checkout and booking pages stay scrollable and tappable.
  • Overlay offers — Full-screen CTA overlays scroll, close reliably, and no longer eat clicks meant for the video.
  • Q&A and chat — The chat pane stays separate from sidebar offer slots so messages and CTAs do not fight for space.
  • Evergreen replay — The play button stays easy to tap on small screens; MP4 video sources are preserved when you save webinar settings.
  • 100ms live (Plus) — Clearer behavior when the stream is not ready; shared rooms dedicate correctly when you save.

Lead import

  • CSV upload — Column mapping handles empty headers and mismatched fields so bulk imports land in the right lead fields.

4.13 — 4.13.17, 6 June 2026 — 14 June 2026

4.12.372 4.13 — The registration confirmation live room path is solid. Dates, timezones, reminder emails, and join links all work together now — on Gutenberg pages and on classic (Hardcoded / Former Pages) alike. This release wraps up the last remaining routing work and lets you focus on running your webinar instead of chasing broken links.

Registration confirmation live room

Works automatically — nothing to reconfigure.

  • Gutenberg pages — Attendees land on the right confirmation page after signing up and reach the live room from the countdown without any extra steps.
  • Classic pages (Hardcoded / Former Pages) — Same reliable path: registration, confirmation email link, and live room join all use consistent URLs.
  • Block themes — Registration forms look the way you designed them; the theme’s heading sizes stay out of the sign-up form.

1-click and auto-register

Works automatically — no setting changes needed.

  • Attendees who register via a 1-click link or auto-register waiting page land on the confirmation page, with the calendar links and join button already there.
  • Confirmation emails link to the same confirmation page your attendees see in the browser.

Reminder emails and calendar

Check: open one reminder email and verify the join button and calendar link look right for your next webinar.

  • Reminder emails use your block theme colors and show a proper Join button — what you preview in the admin is what arrives in the inbox.
  • Calendar downloads and add-to-calendar links use each attendee’s personal confirmation URL.
  • Registration notification emails reach all the addresses you configured under your webinar settings.

Live room and offers

Works automatically.

  • Chat and Q&A are on by default for YouTube and embedded streams — no need to enable them manually.
  • Sidebar CTAs and checkout iframes use the full available room height.
  • Evergreen replay play button is consistently easy to tap on phones.
  • Built-in 100ms live video (Plus): clear status when the stream is not ready; shared rooms are set up correctly when you save.
  • Keyboard shortcuts (space bar, media keys) stay out of the video player when on-screen controls are hidden.

Dashboard

  • Creating a new webinar from the dashboard always produces one webinar — no accidental duplicate.

4.12.369 — 4.12.372, 5 June 2026

4.06.09 4.12.369 — AI webinar content wizard, Gutenberg registration templates, mail preflight, step-by-step setup checklist, rebuilt dates and timezones, reliable reminder emails, cleaner live room for large audiences, webhooks and WooCommerce in the room — full details in the sections below.

  • 4.12.372 — Upgrade and Pricing pages work on brand-new free installs.

Since 4.06.09 (December 2025) — on the road to Version 5.0

4.06.09 4.12.369 — a major rebuild. Since April 2026, development picked up speed: the live room got cleaner, setup got easier, and admin tools help you go live in minutes instead of hours. Below: what changed for you as host and admin — grouped by topic, not by patch number.

December 2025 milestone — 31 December 2025

Quick start: Let the AI build your webinar

  • AI Webinar Generator Wizard — Three registration pages plus email content, generated for any license. Welcome to test and discuss in our Wednesday and Thursday live sessions.
  • Gutenberg registration templates (3 layouts) — On new webinars, these replace the old built-in registration pages from 2013. Registration settings drop by about 80%.
  • Theme colors and fonts adapt automatically — Works with block themes and still helps when Gutenberg is not your default theme.
  • Dashboard quick-start videos — Links right in the dashboard so you are not searching for the next step.
  • Fixed: Cloned webinar custom registration page linking.
  • Updated: KlickTipp API integration to v3.0 (WP2LEADS companion update not yet released).
  • New: webinarignition.com sales page — thanks Robin.

Shipped next from this release line:

  • More done by AI.
  • Multiple registration columns to save space.
  • Thank-you page and webinar room in Gutenberg — also without Gutenberg as the default theme — so you edit layout in the page and need even fewer settings tabs.

Easier to start: AI Wizard, Preflight & Setup Checklist

What’s in it for you: Your first webinar setup goes from “blank page panic” to “review and publish” in one sitting.

  • AI Webinar Content Wizard — Answer three questions (topic, audience, goal). Get three registration page layouts plus four reminder emails in your language. Edit every line; never start from zero again. 26 languages included.
  • Mail Preflight & Readiness — Before you go live, run a quick email health check from the dashboard. See whether your site can send mail reliably, get a clear recommendation if you need an SMTP plugin (SureMail), and send a test message — so reminders land in inboxes, not spam.
  • Zero-Tech Setup Checklist — A simple step-by-step list in the admin: create webinar, connect pages, test registration, verify mail, publish. A progress bar shows how far you are; each step links you straight to the right screen; we remind you to test in a private browser window like your attendees would. Built for …
