FAQ

Why do I need a WordPress.com account?

Since Jetpack and its services are provided and hosted by WordPress.com, a WordPress.com account is required for Jetpack to function.

I already have a WordPress account, but Jetpack isn’t working. What’s going on?

A WordPress.com account is different from the account you use to log into your self-hosted WordPress. If you can log into WordPress.com, then you already have a WordPress.com account. If you can’t, you can easily create one during installation.

How do I view my stats?

Once you’ve installed Jetpack your stats will be available on WordPress.com/Stats, on the official WordPress mobile apps, and on your Jetpack dashboard.

How do I contribute to Jetpack?

There are opportunities for developers at all levels to contribute. Learn more about contributing to Jetpack or consider joining our beta program.

Reviews

No bueno

JetPack is just bloatware that does not speed up your site at all, it might even lower the speed, the "CDN" did nothing & gtmetrix couldn't even detect it, they also don't state where the servers are & so it is probably running on like 3 PoPs. Also, I find it funny that they keep trying to sell me the premium plans by putting banners all over the place so I contacted support with some presale questions & guess what, they haven't responded in days!

Unbelievable plugin

This is so cool package which provide a lot of tools for every webmaster. Fast and simple installation. Fast support! Thanks you so much!

Bloat Catastrophy

As far as I'm concerned, any plugin that can take a sub-2secs loading time website down to over 5-6 seconds loading time, then needs configuring to try and get a couple of seconds back, is not worth the hassle of uploading it.
