Taybl Connect

Description

Taybl Connect links your WordPress site to your Taybl account so you can drop your booking widget and menu widgets anywhere on your site — no code, no copy-pasted embed snippets.

  • Connect once under Settings Taybl Connect.
  • Place the “Taybl Booking” and “Taybl Menu” blocks anywhere in the block editor, or the matching Elementor widgets if you use Elementor.
  • Pick the venue (and, for chains, which of several venues) per block — one WordPress site can embed widgets from multiple venues.

Requires an active Taybl account. Support is provided by Taybl at https://taybl.food/support.

External services

This plugin connects your WordPress site to the Taybl service (taybl.food) in order to function. It sends requests to Taybl’s servers to:

  • Authenticate and verify your Taybl account connection.
  • Retrieve your venue and menu data.
  • Disconnect your account when you choose to unlink it.

It also loads the following JavaScript files directly from Taybl’s servers, which are required to render the booking and menu widgets on your site:

  • widget/v2/booking-widget.js
  • widget/v1/menu-widget.js

These requests are only made when the plugin is active and configured, or when a page containing a Taybl block/widget is viewed. See Taybl’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy for details on how this data is handled.

Blocks

This plugin provides 2 blocks.

  • Taybl Booking Embed your Taybl booking widget for a chosen venue.
  • Taybl Menu Embed one of your Taybl menu widgets.

Installation

  1. Install and activate the plugin.
  2. Go to Settings Taybl Connect and sign in with your Taybl admin account.
  3. Add the “Taybl Booking” or “Taybl Menu” block to any page, or use the matching Elementor widgets, and choose a venue.
