External Services
This plugin connects to an external API to retrieve real-time precious metal rates and currency exchange rates for display in your site’s widgets and charts.
— Service used: Veyondtech Metal Rate API (https://www.veyondtech.com/api/metal-rate/)
— Purpose: Fetches the latest precious metal rates (Gold, Silver, Platinum, Palladium) and currency conversion rates.
— Data sent: API key and query parameters (symbols of metals and currencies requested, base currency, weight unit, interval). No personal data, user info, or visitor telemetry is transmitted.

Installation
- Upload the plugin folder to /wp-content/plugins/
- Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
- Go to Metal Rates in the admin dashboard and add your metal data
